Matt, a lifelong resident of the Saginaw area, has been a shooting sports enthusiast since childhood and loves sharing his knowledge and training in firearms and firearm safety.

As owner and lead instructor of Tactical Range Solutions, Matt has both the expertise and personal experience to assist those of all ages and from all walks of life interested in developing their shooting skills.

Matt enjoys working new shooters with particular attention to helping newcomers overcome nervousness and apprehension. Matt works with literally hundreds of students every year ranging from beginners to law-enforcement officers desiring to improve their gun handling and marksmanship skills.

Matt is an NRA Training Counselor, certified in Home Firearm Safety, Certified Pistol, Personal Protection in the Home, Certified Range Safety Officer (RSO), and trains new instructors in the same disciplines. Matt also brings a host of real-world experience to benefit those looking to further their firearms skills, including experience in armed executive protection, corporate security, and investigative work.

Matt teaches advanced firearms classes and has won numerous shooting awards in law enforcement and public shooting competitions, and is trained in active shooter and barricaded gunman training by the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (M.C.O.L.E.S.) Matt is also on Glock’s “Perfect People” list for his shooting performance in the Glock Shooting Sports Foundation (GSSF).

Mike Jarabek

Mike is a lifelong resident of Saginaw County. Mike was hired by the Saginaw Police Department in 1989.  Mike served on the Saginaw Police department from 1989 until his retirement in 2009.  During his service with Saginaw, Mike spent 18 years on the department’s Emergency Services Team (S.W.A.T.) and 5 years assigned to the Homicide Unit as a Detective.

During his time on the Emergency Services Team he was trained in Hostage Rescue, Hostage Negotiations and Live Fire.  During his last 13 years with Saginaw, he was a third shift patrol Sergeant.  Mike was also a supervisor for the K-9 Unit, Emergency Services Team, Motorcycle Unit, Reserve Unit and also served as a background investigator.  Also during this time, Mike began working for Delta College’s Police Academy in 1991 as an Instructor.  Mike is an EVO (emergency vehicle operations) Instructor and also teaches vehicle stops, radio communications and scenario based training.

In addition, Mike has been trained and certified in Critical Incident Debrief Training. This is designed to help both emergency workers and citizens through shooting and other traumatic incidents.  Upon his retirement in 2009, Mike went to work full time for Delta College Department of Public Safety where he is currently a Sergeant.  Mike and his wife Rochelle and their children currently reside in Saginaw.  Mike is a lifelong shooter and member of the NRA and is also a Certified Firearm Instructor. Given his vast knowledge and experience, Mike is the lead legal instructor of Tactical Range Solutions.
